The Carob Tree Project has successfully developed a number of heritage projects. We have worked with communities to develop fundable and sustainable schemes for places of worship, museums and parks.

Projects Undertaken

Our team has:

  • Successively secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver Heritage Projects.
  • Developed Heritage strategies for a major synagogal body
  • Develop a European Heritage Day which has been running for over 20 years
  • Project managed a major heritage development scheme on a Victorian cemetery
  • Created new visions and projects with listed places of worship
  • Negotiated museum funding from the British and French Governments
  • Worked to develop content for online, museum and heritage attractions in the UK

Our philosophy is to work with clients, their communities and the wider public to enable a wider audience and appreciation of heritage sites, the people that worked, lived or used the site and how their stories impact on our lives today. We like to use history to ask contemporary questions working to interpret heritage for modern audiences, old and young alike.
